Keep your heart bigger, Life is too small!

There's hardly a day when the news doesn't carry the news of a demise, loss, or departure of a fellow homo sapien.
It's just a news for us because it rarely concerns us.
But someday,as each day passes, as we travel through the path of life, and we hear about loss of a closed one,  we pause to mourn.
We are aghast.
How can someone we know just disappear into nothingness? People whom we know aren't suppose to leave, right? But they do.

They say, ''every end is beautiful. Every end marks a new beginning.''
Is it?
No. Abrupt endings aren't beautiful. Abrupt endings can't pave way for new beginning.
Only if we live, smile and make others smile each moment, we can make abrupt endings beautiful too.

When people depart. They carry several pieces of souls with them. Souls of parents, family members, friends, classmates..  The list is endless.
And when such incident occurs, we realise life's too uncertain.
Life's too small. And loss is inevitable. It will come sooner or later. .
We can't even presume who is going to leave next.
So, what can we do?

What's destined can't be changed.
But we can live a life in such a way that it doesn't seem so short-lived.
For once, we can ''live'' before we become a memory.
For once we can imprint happy memories on our loved ones minds for them cherish.
For once we can be a tad bit kinder. Empathic. Loving.
For once we can not shout at our housing help for that glass she didn't wipe.
For once we can smile at the security guard we see daily.
For once we can forget the angst against life.
For once we can avoid shouting at others.
For once we can stop taking others for granted.
For once we can forget the grudges and sad memories and move ahead.
For once we can stop being prisoners of our past.
For once we can stop being negative.
For once we can pause, retrospect and begin smiling at life again.

Keep your heart bigger than your woes.
Because life's a way too small.

A small compliment on your mother's cooked food won't hurt. Neither will a sorry to that old friend will make you inferior. A call to your grandparents won't hurt.
Neither will a hello text to that sad friend. A small effort for a loved one won't hurt. Neither will the efforts for unknown people.
You know what will hurt?
The regret for the inability to do anything when it's too late.
After all, kya pata, Kal Ho Na Ho??
